On Thursday, November 28th, over 40 donors and guests joined us for a great bonus holiday evening at The Burren! Delicious oysters, premium whiskey and ugly sweaters complimented the special event all in support of Providence Healthcare.
On Wednesday, August 14, over 90 donors and guests came together to celebrate the end of summer and enjoy a beautiful Toronto sail at MAPP’s ‘Beers & Piers’ event, all in support of Providence Healthcare.
On Wednesday, June 19, Providence Healthcare Foundation held its annual Men Advancing Philanthropy for Providence (MAPP) voting meeting at the Toronto Hunt Club, where employees pitched their project ideas to MAPP donors in the hopes of being selected for funding.
On Wednesday, April 3, over 70 donors and guests came together to celebrate whisky, learn its history and try their hand at Crown and Anchor at the MAPP 'Whisky & Wisdom' event, all in support of Providence Healthcare.
As Gold Sponsor, CIBC sponsored this prestigious event, as MAPP honored the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One on November 11, 1918. Donors gathered to celebrate the men who fought for the peace and prosperity we are all fortunate enough to enjoy today.
Everything was on our side for this perfect day on the water – incredible weather, the spectacular views of the city from Toronto Harbour, impressive boats and a wonderful complement of generous MAPP donors and their guests. It was perfect.
Donors in our men’s philanthropy group – Men Advancing Philanthropy for Providence (MAPP) – has voted to make the Providence Healthcare Simulation Program its funded project for the next year. The donors have voted to direct $100,000 of their dollars to this innovative program, which was one of three projects presented by Providence staff for their consideration at the MAPP annual voting meeting in June.
Philanthropic lumberjacks. Two words that don’t commonly go together, but that’s exactly what happened on March 29, 2018 in Toronto for MAPP’s Great Canadian Axe Battle! It was a special night as the toughest lumberjacks from across the Greater Toronto Area gathered to compete for the axe-throwing championship and ultimate bragging rights.
On January 31st Men Advancing Philanthropy for Providence (MAPP) celebrated its first event of the year at Dublin Calling on Adelaide Street West for a high-spirited evening of games, laughter and philanthropy.
2017 was the year of the rooster… and we can’t stop crowing about all the amazing moments that have left a lasting impression on us. Reflecting back on last year, our small team at Providence Healthcare Foundation were able to pull off many BIG things. It was our 30th anniversary this year… we had to make the year really special.
