Kassum Family Foundation Donates $20,000 To Providence Healthcare

Apr 14, 2020

Several years ago, Ken (Kamruddin) Kassum was a patient of Providence Healthcare when he was at his most vulnerable. The entire Kassum Family relied on the staff and caregivers at Providence to take care of Ken – a husband, a father, and a grandfather.

Thanks to our incredible staff, and their industry-leading care, Ken recovered his strength and returned home. His family was grateful that we took care of him so well when he needed us most. This is what Providence does for its patients, every single day.

When the Kassum family heard that Providence needed critical funds to help fight COVID-19 and support our acute care partners, they knew what they had to do. We are humbled at an incredibly generous $20,000 contribution from the Kassum Family Foundation, made in memory of Ken Kassum, to help support Providence during this unprecedented time. THANK YOU to the Kassum Family for taking care of our staff and for helping to fund strength at Providence!

With the Kassum Family Foundation’s incredible support, Providence will be able to purchase several vital signs machines, helping us to monitor and support our most vulnerable patients during the COVID-19 crisis.
