Birthday joy can come in different forms. Jordan celebrated his 38th birthday last Friday by treating the Providence Healthcare staff to a delicious meal. Doris, Jordan’s mother, was a recent patient at Providence and the compassionate care experience received, fueled Jordan’s desire to pay it forward.
Donnie Blais, owner of Ranch Relaxo To Go Food Truck, teamed up with Jordan to grant his wish. Providence Healthcare Heroes were treated to lunch, free burritos, and entertained by the uplifting music of Dr. Tim Rutledge, President & CEO, Unity Health Toronto and Shawn Brady, lead singer of Neon Nostalgic, and Providence’s Senior Clinical Program Director.
As Jordan celebrated his birthday, it was made even more special for him through this opportunity to acknowledge and thank the staff of Providence Healthcare.
CityNews’ reporter Audra Brown covered the story on Friday’s news at 5, 6 and 11 pm: https://toronto.citynews.ca/video/2020/06/19/a-special-thank-you-to-health-care-workers/Thank you Jordan and Rancho Relaxo To Go Food Truck for your generosity and selflessness!
