Celebrating Our Valued Donors and Volunteers

Providence Healthcare Foundation hosted our 13th Annual Donor Appreciation Reception on October 03, 2018, sponsored by TD Commercial Banking.

More than 60 of the Foundation’s closest friends joined us in a celebration of philanthropy and goodwill, and helped us honour and congratulate this year’s outstanding Award Recipients.Rosemary Rathgeb has been named the 2018 Donor of Distinction in recognition of her proven history with the Foundation, and her longtime role as a Providence Healthcare Ambassador.She has been a volunteer at Providence Healthcare since 1980, and a donor since 1983.Rosemary also was a member of the Foundation’s Board from 1980 – 1985 and was instrumental in confirming a $1M gift from the Order of Malta.We are extremely grateful for her years of service and dedication to advancing the Mission of Providence.

Another valued supporter of Providence Healthcare - George C. Cobham - was presented with the 2018 Villani Award, recognizing his passionate service, outstanding leadership and philanthropic achievements.George has been involved with Providence in many ways – he is a MAPP donor, sat on the MAPP Advisory Group, and most notably, has been the Cuisine & Cuvee Committee Chair.Providence Healthcare Foundation is thankful for George’s tenacity, inspiration and altruistic spirit.

The celebration was topped off by a message from President & CEO, St. Joseph’s Health Centre, St. Michael’s Hospital, and Providence Healthcare, Dr. Tim Rutledge, focusing on the collaboration across the network, which has now passed the one year mark.
