Providence Healthcare Foundation has been Imagine Canada accredited since 2017.

Accountability

Providence Healthcare Foundation became one of the few Canadian charities to achieve the prestigious accreditation from Imagine Canada’s Standards Program on October 31, 2017.

The Standards Program awards accreditation to Canadian charities and nonprofits that demonstrate excellence in five areas of operations: board governance; financial accountability and transparency; fundraising; staff management; and volunteer involvement.

Providence Healthcare Foundation’s policies and procedures were rigorously evaluated by a transparent peer-review process and were found to be compliant with the Standards Program. Accreditation is a testimony to our Foundation’s accountability, transparency and good governance. With over 85,000 charities in Canada, fewer than 3% have been recognized with this gold standard for operational excellence.
