D Wing Entrance Temporarily Closed

Effective January 25, the D Wing entrance will be temporarily closed for the remodelling of our new Palliative Care spaces. The areas affected include the D1 entrance and lobby area up to the elevator. This work is part of our Palliative Care revitalization project, providing a new, home-like environment that includes a welcoming entrance for patients and their families and visitors. The new Palliative Care space will be unveiled later this year.

Fast Facts

I am visitor/staff. Which entrances can I use?
Visitors and staff can enter Providence via the entrances to the Clinics, Providence Hospital or Houses of Providence.

Staff only can enter through Door 17 near Environmental Services or the entrance to the Houses LINK (card pass required).

How long will the D Wing entrance be closed for?
The D Wing entrance is expected to be closed for several months.

Can I still use the D Wing elevator?
Yes, the D Wing elevator is still in operation.
