The 21st annual Silver Ball in support of Providence Healthcare, a leader in providing rehabilitation, palliative and long-term care, as well as community-based programs including an Adult Day Program for people with dementia, will be held Saturday, November 8 at the Fairmont Royal York.
More than 800 guests will enjoy a red carpet experience, attending the event with some of the Toronto Raptors team members and celebrities from television shows “The Strain” and “Saving Hope.” Live performances include renowned Canadian Opera singer Christopher Dallo and internationally acclaimed U2 tribute band Elevation.
This year’s event will raise $1 million to support initiatives such as Hope Starts Here, a $16 million campaign that will transform Providence Hospital by introducing a new model of patient flow and care, and by creating a new Palliative Care space as well as a Knowledge Centre to help invest in our people and our future.
The Silver Ball is Toronto’s longest running gala and has raised more than $13 million for Providence to date. The event is made possible through the support of major sponsors: BMO, Davis + Henderson, RBC, Scotiabank Group, Stewart Title Guaranty Company and Sun Life Financial Canada. Special thanks to Lexus on the Park for its generous donation of a luxury vehicle, the Lexus IS 250 Sport (valued at $56,100), as our top raffle prize.
