Geriatric Rehabilitation


Geriatric Rehabilitation provides rehabilitation and treatment for older adults who are experiencing multiple, complex medical and psycho-social problems, or a recent unexplained breakdown in health and function.

Referrals are made when the health, dignity and independence of an older adult are at risk. High Tolerance and Low Tolerance programs are available.

Admission Criteria

High Tolerance
Provides rehabilitation for frail adults who have had a functional loss and where rehabilitation goals can be identified.

Low Tolerance
Provides functional assessment and treatment for older adults who are failing and experiencing medical, physical and/or psychological difficulty due to multiple complex co-morbidities.
