Our 16th annual Cuisine & Cuvée evening, presented by TD Commercial Banking and the co-operators , raised $200,000 (net) to help Providence Healthcare create a better care experience for our patients. This is the first time in our history that Cuvée has reached this milestone amount, and we send our greatest thanks to our dedicated committee members, sponsors, food donors, guests, volunteers and staff for helping us get there. Cuisine & Cuvée has earned a reputation as one of Toronto’s best parties by featuring the latest in culinary trends at 30 gourmet food and beverage stations.
More than 900 guests delight in the delicacy of oysters, the richness of steak, and the depth of fine cheeses, while our smorgasbord of savory and sweet is accompanied by sommelier-selected fine wines and beers along with modern twists on manhattans, G&T’s, martinis, and more. An event created for those with discerning taste, guests at Cuisine & Cuvée can expect beautifully presented tasty morsels prepared by the top chefs in the city.
Cuisine & Cuvée is also designed to evolve through the evening into a massive party with one of the city’s top DJs accompanied by live musicians. For those that want to support the important work of Providence Healthcare, an auction and raffle with many rare and money-can’t-buy experiences will let guests take home something special.
As a special benefit for our premium sponsors, Providence Healthcare Foundation is proud to present Cuisine & Cuvée's VIP Food & Wine Experience.In 2016, we were delighted to have Celebrity Chef Massimo Capra present at the VIP Food & Wine Experience, where he demonstrated how to prepare gourmet delicacies simple enough to re-create at home. Each guest sampled the chef’s cuisine paired with fine wines selected by Cuisine & Cuvée’s Sommelier, Marcel Bregstein. Marcel is the Sommelier and Assistant General Manager of the Toronto Hunt Club. It was an exceptional experience, as Marcel presented some of the best wines he has discovered over the years, and paired with Chef Massimo Capra’s cuisine.
