Health Links

Health Links are voluntary groups of providers including primary care, hospitals and community agencies that work together to provide patient-centred, coordinated care for those individuals in their community who have complex health needs. Providence Healthcare is a founding member of the East Toronto Health Link and the North East Toronto Health Link. We also work closely with the North York Central Health Link and the Scarborough Health Link.

Centre for Clinical Ethics

Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1982, the Centre for Clinical Ethics was the first ethics service of its kind in Canada. Along with St. Michael’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Health Centre, we are committed to the Centre’s Mission to “enable members of the health care community to identify and resolve ethical issues which arise in the clinical setting.”

GTA Rehab Network

The GTA Rehab Network is a volunteer network of hospitals and community based organizations dedicated to the integration of rehabilitation through the continuum of care.

  • Toronto Stroke Networks
    Part of the Ontario Stroke System, the Toronto Stroke Networks are a volunteer collaboration of Toronto partners dedicated to improve the outcome and experience of persons with stroke through education and innovation.
  • Health Network on Uninsured Clients
    Founded in April 2007, this group works to address access to health care in Toronto for the population who are not medically insured.
  • Hospital Collaborative on Marginalized Populations
    Providence Healthcare is a member of this collaborative of hospitals who are dedicated to the promotion of health equity and quality in healthcare
  • Scarborough Hospice Palliative Care Integration Project
    A volunteer network of healthcare providers dedicated to promoting integrated coordinated palliative care to support individuals in their community.
  • Solutions – East Toronto's Health Collaborative
    Providence Healthcare is one of 20 partners committed to the development of a coordinated system of care in South East Toronto.
